Reform in teacher education and in undergraduate science teaching in higher education; Teacher beliefs and self efficacy relating to inquiry models of pedagogy and the nature of science; Conceptual change related to teacher content acquisition and pedagogy adoption; Preparation of high quality science teachers and their on-going professional development; Socio-political influences affecting the status of science teaching in K-12 schools.
