ALABAMA
SCIENCE
TEACHING
AND LEARNING CENTER
The
Alabama Science Teaching and Learning Center (ASTLC) is charged with
meeting the increasingly sophisticated demands from Alabama
schools for the highest quality science teachers. Its courses, for
both new and in-service teachers, are designed not to just bring
scientific knowledge to their students, but to train their students
to think and operate as scientists poised to meet the complex
challenges of the 21st century.
